Punjab allots 13 new vehicles for Fire Stations

The Punjab Government has allotted 13 new vehicles to the different fire stations located in different cities of the state.\r\n \r\nIt was disclosed by Mr Anil Joshi, Minister for Local Government, Punjab. He said that the Government of India and Punjab Government has allotted funds to the department to provide vehicles/other gadgets pertaining to the fire service for older 17 districts.\r\n \r\nMr. Joshi said that the department purchased 13 Tata-207 vehicles and these vehicles were allotted to Amritsar, Ludhiana, Patiala, Bathinda, Ferozpur, Hoshiarpur, Rupnagar, Faridkot, Sri Mukatsar Sahib, Sangrur, Abohar and Moga. \r\n \r\nHe said that due to the congested roads and narrow streets of holy and historic city Amritrsar, small range Tata-207 has been allotted for this city.
